Growing up in a musical family made it very clear at an early age what I was to do with my life.  With a humble Kentucky up-bringing and only a semi-formal music education under my belt, I packed up my drums and moved to Brooklyn, NY to further pursue my passion.

Now at age 30, I’ve studied privately with many of the city’s top drummers, worked with some of New York’s finest producers, and befriended a community of amazing musicians and artists who constantly challenge me to be a better drummer.  I’ve shared the stage with all walks of life, from The Wailers, to Chris Thile, to RZA of the Wu Tang Clan, toured the country through and through, and showcased countless times at CMJ and SXSW music festivals.

The past three years I’ve stayed quite busy with my current band The Stationary Set, which just finished recording its third studio album set for release in 2012, all the while filling up my spare time writing and performing with various Singer/Songwriter projects on the side.

I’m always interested in working with new artists, so drop me an email,..

i’d love to hear from you~
